The bean is a tiny power packed pod of protein and fiber—a superfood. Corn (especially that GMO stuff that’s used in most snacks) is, IOHO, calorically challenged. It’s a filler. Hog feed. Yes. BEANFIELDS are gluten-free as certified by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization, which as you might have guessed, is an organization that certifies gluten-freeness.

Yes, BEANFIELDS are 100% plant based and vegan. So vegan they won’t even wear a leather coat they found at a thrift store.
We don’t use the eight ingredients the FDA recognizes as top food allergens. No milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy or wheat. And, for our Canadian friends, we also don’t use mustard, sesame or sulphites. So yes, our chips are allergy friendly, not to mention charming and well mannered.
No, BEANFIELDS ain’t in the cornfield brother. We’re full of beans for the most nutrition possible.
Because we can use the bean, get more nutrition and provide our chips with a fuller bodied texture. Why don’t the mega corporate chip makers use beans instead of corn? Because it’s harder to do. But you can’t take the easy road to healthy and delicious. Not to mention, corn depletes the soil during the growing process. Beans protect the soil and aid in its overall health. That’s funny, they do the same for our bodies.

Unopened from production date they’re good for 12 months, but honestly, we don’t think you’ll make it 12 minutes. Once opened, gobble them up.

Our chips are made in a little country called, the United States of America, from ingredients grown right here as well, in the US of A.
Though our packaging is not commonly recyclable, we are always working to find solutions. Companies like Terra Cycle offer more information on sustainable solutions: www.terracycle.com
We are constantly working with our suppliers and raw materials vendors, as members of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, to evaluate “green” alternatives in order to improve our packaging and reduce energy consumption. Most notably, we are now using 40,000 LBS less plastic per year by updating our film structure; overall reducing the amount of plastic in our film by 25%.
